We’re a member of  the Intl Forum of Sovereign-Wealth Funds (of which there are about thirty in the world). We’re most concerned about long-term-trends; we closely monitor trends in the oil sector, and our investments: almost $40 bil under our mgt, we do not invest in O&G revenue, ourselves; we diversify. Norway.  Central Bank of Israel: it's sustained and constantly growing —early in the country’s existence, which is a major accomplishment.

California tomfoolery. Bites the hand that feeds them. Paris: Is California competing to be th France of business? Macron’s tax plan on bz models globally – if you d $800 mil globally and $__ mil in France, you’ll be taxed at a high [confiscatory?] rate. Punitive-tax envt.   Has driven much prosperity out of France; and are destroying the innovation engine there.

SOCAR: VP Marketing and Investment of The State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan; in re: Southern gas corridor.  Pipeline, 3.5 km long, 66” wide in Turkey, 16 bil cu meters of gas to Turkey, can be increased to 65-70 bil cu meters of gas.  Hydrocarbons to the EU.  Rothschilds, Nobels, Duponts, began their wealth in Baku; took O&G to Batumi.  The contract of the century, signed in 2018in Baku -  Chevron, Exxon, Mobil, Total, and a dozen others.
