Tuesday 3 March 2020   / Hour 1, Block B:   Elizabeth Peek, TheHill and Fox News; in re: US politics: why did the Democratic elite wait s long to take on Bernie Sanders? We don't know. Did they wait too long? Maybe.

Hospitals are short of everything – test kits, quarantine facilities.  Of 290 parliamentarians who volunteered to take a test, 23 tested positive.  Maybe hundreds of thousands are positive.
Pilgrims to Qom, Mashhad, and elsewhere, just went home to other countries.  The largest shrine is in Mashhad, and reporters are forbidden to report from there.    Nowrooz [New Year] is coming; the regime at least has closed down some major celebrations.  [Bravi, mullahs.]

Hour Two
Tuesday 3 March 2020   / Hour 2, Block A:  Gregory Copley Defense and Foreign Affairs, in re: eSwatini (once Swaziland), a tiny nation in southernmost Africa, is a focus of the Peoples Republic of China, not to its benefit. Why? It’s a bellwether of efforts for the PRC to legitimize itself.   It’s now lost access to the sea, and the ANC has a debt to settle with eSwatini. Last year, South Africa swore it’d get rid of any countries that recognize Taiwan; eSwatini is the last African nation to do so, and the PRC has sent hit teams to kill the king of eSwatini. PRC sees that African nations may see that the Communist Party is not a legitimate head of China.
The threat: “The door of the Chinese embassy is open for the people of eSwatini to talk of a win-win cooperation”—which, with the rest of the quotation, constitutes a direct threat to the people of eSwatini.  [see also: http://www.swazilandnews.co.za/fundza.php?nguyiphi=168 ] [eSwatini reports:  http://www.swazilandnews.co.za/fundza.php?nguyiphi=168 ]
In Ethiopia, the feeling against Communist China is absolute hatred.
Tuesday 3 March 2020   / Hour 2, Block B:  Gregory Copley, Defense and Foreign Affairs, in re: The bullying that China routinely practices against small and ancient part of Africa. Now: the Powers have been deferential to the CCP. Will Covid-19 change the powers as they deal with China in the XXI Century?  Yes, and already is changing in Britain.  Can see the economic dislocation in China; is likely to be an economic dead zone in the near future; henceforth will be an important mkt but not as able to pressure others.    It's now clear that Huawei is a tool of the PLA and its attempts to penetrate foreign comms links. They almost got there, but . . .
France, Macron: has begun to thin out his deference to China.
Germany.   Is Moscow reluctant to trust Beijing?  Yes, always has been.  Russia is looking for different ways out of this, incl Central Asia.
Japan, in no way favorably disposed toward China; must be wary, bldg defense force very rapidly, more effective than China’s defense.
[“Nobody develops a bioweapon they can’t control, and they can’t control Covid-19.”]
