The book platform will send Mrs. Palin to all fifty states, if she wishes, and ensure financial security for her family. Also, Sarah Palin is a rock star in an age without rock stars under 60, and we can expect to see her on major news shows and entertainment shows indefinitely. Richard Nixon, after his 1960 disappointment, pursued the nomination for eight years until his victory in 1968. Same for John McCain after the defeat in 2000. Sarah Palin is a candidate for the Republican nomination easily till 2016, and she does not need to do more than cheer and smile through the next three cycles. Palin, with Potomac Fever, is now iconic on the American landscape for the next four or five or six decades.
